MYTHS. The Magnificent MYTH

ROBERT ASPRIN (1946—2008) became famous for his fantasy humorous series "Myths" (MYTHs), with the very first novel, "Another Fine Myth," achieving such success that publishers signed a contract with him for 6 books, and then extended it for another 6.... After 12 "classic" Asprinian novels, the series continued with Jodi Lynn Nye. Among other known works by the author is the series "The Phule's Company" about the adventures of brave space mercenaries, as well as the meticulous editing of the multi-volume series "The Thieves' World," which brought together dozens of writers, from recognized masters of the genre to debutants, creating an exciting universe inhabited by adventurers and rogues. The young apprentice mage Skive from the planet Pent was unfortunate — his mentor dies while attempting to summon a monster, binding it with a pentagram. However... the monster turned out not to be so terrifying after all and even volunteered to be Skive's new teacher! But the agreement between the young simpleton and the demonic trickster will plunge Skive into troubles he couldn't have imagined.
