Becky lives in a new house with her father, a housekeeper, and her son Hugo. Peering behind the veil of mystery in the Rosenbolt castle library, the children learn that all old books must be read, or they may crumble to dust and disappear forever. But one day, Becky and Hugo stumble upon a strange and mysterious "Main Book." As they begin to read it, the children enter a magical book world. How did this happen and what awaits them next?
