Speaking Czech. A Speech Development Guide

This educational manual is intended for Russian-speaking students and enthusiasts of the Czech language at an advanced stage of learning. Thematically, it is divided into 12 lessons - thematic cycles, reflecting the most active part of the Czech vocabulary in... speech communication. Each cycle is built on a unified structure: it begins with lively communicative texts, followed by a set of commonly used conversational Czech words and expressions with Russian equivalents included in the dialogues, then there are exercises for passive and active mastery of the corresponding selected language material. Many idioms are explained etymologically with a particular emphasis on cultural information. At the end of the book, there is a fairly complete Czech-Russian dictionary.
