The Blade of a Razor

In this edition, readers can get acquainted with the legendary adventure novel by Ivan Yefremov "The Blade of a Razor". The writer worked diligently on this work for several years; in 1963, the novel was published in the magazine "Neva". Now "The Blade of a Razor" is considered one of Yefremov's most significant works. Magnificent illustrations for the novel were created by the famous Russian graphic artists and painters, spouses Igor Naumovich Shalito (1932–2017) and Galina Nikolaevna Boiko (1936–2006). For many years, the artists collaborated to design publications of talented authors, including Ivan Yefremov. In addition to "The Blade of a Razor", their drawings embellish Yefremov's novels "The Hour of the Bull", "Tais of Athens", "Star Ships", and "The Andromeda Nebula".
