Sunday lives in a small town. She finds it difficult to communicate with people, so she looks for hints on how to hold conversations and host guests in an etiquette guide and Sicilian folklore. She only has a close relationship... with her daughter, but Dolly is already sixteen, and she will soon fly out of the nest, which makes Sunday anxious. When a glamorous London couple, Vita and Rollo, move in nearby, charming everyone with their charisma, her anxiety only grows. Dolly increasingly spends time at their place, forgetting to inform her mother, sharing secrets less frequently, and behaving more strangely. Sunday becomes more and more troubled by the question: what lies behind the facade of the London couple's beautiful life? This is a poignant story about parenthood, loneliness, and the high cost of trust between people.
