3589, a time of incredible technologies and unprecedented flourishing of civilization. But not everything is within the grasp of the human mind, and an unexpected threat may destroy what has been so painstakingly created over the centuries.
At the very heart... of the Galaxy lies the Abyss, a self-contained micro-universe that is impossible to access. It has existed for billions of years, like a black hole, gradually consuming stars, and even the oldest race has no idea of its origins. But Inigo, an astrophysicist studying the Abyss, begins to dream of human beings living in this universe.
