The dystopian novel "We," according to the author himself, the famous revolutionary in art Yevgeny Ivanovich Zamyatin (1884-1937), is a signal of the danger threatening mankind, humanity from the hypertrophied power of machines and the power of the state. Its action takes place in a distant future: a builder of a spaceship keeps records of his life for descendants, telling about the "highest peaks of human history" in the One State headed by the Benefactor. The book also includes four novellas by the author and stories from different years.
