Mikho, a professor of German literature, is going to the USA to participate in a symposium. By coincidence, her first love, Joseph, lives in New York. For the first time in a long while, they arrange to meet. Then, forty years ago, a young seminarian teaching at the cathedral and a high school girl fell in love with each other. Can the raging endless sea become a serene and gentle surface? In the center of New York, the puzzles of the past will finally come together…
