Physics

Aristotle (384-322 BC) is one of the greatest thinkers of Antiquity, a student of Plato and tutor to Alexander the Great, the founder of the Peripatetic school, the creator of formal logic, a natural scientist who had a significant influence... on the development of Western philosophy and science. "Physics" – a fundamental treatise serves as a kind of introduction to all of Aristotle's natural science works, including those that we today classify within the fields of biology and psychology. In this work, the thinker addresses the principles (or laws) of any natural phenomena, as well as general problems of motion. Aristotle's "Physics" has little in common with modern physics, but nevertheless this work is still considered one of the highest achievements of human thought in the field of natural sciences.
