Don't touch us

Poems are a continuous inquiry into what poems are. They are not written, but discovered. Even more: it is an inquiry into what poems are today. Why is this so important? Because for a poet, there is no more important task than figuring out what this "today" is. Mikhail Eisenberg's new book consists of poems written in 2022-2023, supplemented by poems from previous years that peek into the future, that is, into our today.
