The Brave Little Tailor and Other Fairy Tales

Brothers Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm were born in the late 18th century in the town of Hanau, in the family of a modest German lawyer. They were very close friends from childhood, studying science together, becoming recognized authorities in the fields of philology and mythology, and together collecting, processing, and publishing fairy tales that are now known all over the world.

We present to young readers and teachers of the German language a book that includes German romantic fairy tales. The texts of the fairy tales are accompanied by comments and a glossary.
