Memoir

Leonid Yuzefovich is a writer, historian, laureate of the "Big Book", "National Bestseller" and "Yasnaya Polyana" awards. He is the author of documentary biographical novels "The Despot of the Desert" about Baron Ungern and "Winter Road" about the white general Anatoly Pepelyayev and the red commander Ivan Strode, the novels "Kazarosa" and "Cranes and Dwarfs", the collection of stories "Lighthouse on Hiiumaa" and the novella "Expedition to Bar-Khoto", in which he once again returns to Mongolian themes. The new book "Memoir" includes selected poems by Leonid Yuzefovich, written from 1965 to 2023, and an autobiographical essay about his love for poetry, which he has carried throughout his life.
