One Hundred Secret Feelings

San Francisco, 1962. Six-year-old Olivia is frightened: she has been told that the older daughter of her father will move into their home, having been brought from a Chinese village. “Is she going to live here instead of me?” —... “No, of course not! She will live here with you.” However, the girl cannot overcome her distrust toward her sister. First, Guan speaks poor English, and second, she tires Olivia out with her endless love...
