Beyond the Distant Horizon

The lyrical and emotional narrative is based on real events from the 1950s, when underprivileged and orphaned children from Great Britain were sent into exile in colonies, where they were promised a paradise life under warm sunshine. However, the reality turns out to be quite different: barefoot and half-clothed, in hunger and cold, under the oppression of cruel overseers, the wards are forced to work on the farm from morning till night, enduring pain and grievances. Only the fiery young hearts will help these children, who have never known parental love, find their way to each other.
