The Caretaker

Jacob and Naomi fell in love with each other at once, no matter that he is the heir of the wealthy Hampton family, and she is a semi-literate maid. Defying their families, Jacob marries Naomi, but society, led by their parents, turns against the young couple. Only Blackburn Gantt, the polio-deformed cemetery caretaker, remains loyal to his friend and his young wife.
