New Year's and Christmas Stories of Future Russian Classics

“New Year's and Christmas Stories of Future Russian Classics” is a collection of Christmas stories compiled by Maya Kucherskaya and Irina Zhukova.

The book includes texts by graduates of the master's program of the National Research University Higher School of Economics “Literary Craft” and literary workshops of the Creative Writing School, the “Band” school, and the literary club of the Union of Russian Writers. Despite the variety of themes, styles, and even levels of authors, ranging from beginners to mature writers, their heroes invariably emerge from all hardships alive and unharmed. And it should be so: this is the requirement of the Christmas genre.

The works have undergone expert evaluation by experienced literary mentors and editors. These stories show the development of literary tradition and may, in the future, enter the golden fund of Russian classics.
