Christmas Stories by Russian Writers

The Christmas, or festive story, is a popular and beloved literary genre, perhaps by all. It would seem that all works written in this genre are based on a single plot - the Nativity of Christ. But how different they are! A multitude of fates and experiences, sometimes severe life trials and an unwavering faith in good and justice, for the Savior of the world was born! This book gathers the most touching Christmas stories by Russian authors - Kuprin, Shmelev, Chekhov, as well as lesser-known writers to a wider audience such as Evgeny Poselyanin, Pavel Zasodimskiy, Nikolai Telezhov, and many others. We invite you to share the heartwarming Christmas joy with us and the authors, of course!
