2024 is the year of the thirtieth anniversary of palliative care in Moscow. In 1994, with the launch of the home care service, the First Moscow Hospice began its work, later named after its founder Vera Millionshchikova. Today, it serves... as a model for the organization of palliative care in our country.
Hospices in Russia are state-funded free medical institutions. In order for every hospice not only in Moscow but across the country to become a true home that preserves the warmth of human life, no matter how much of it remains, hospice staff and volunteers from the Charitable Foundation "Vera" work diligently.
