The Vertical Edge of the World

In the very heart of the Icy Valley, a team of three men, a woman, and two dogs, braving the onslaught of a snowstorm, makes their way to the last settlement on the road to the Edge of the World... — Mount Velikaya, a peak that no one has yet reached. The group’s goal is to repair the power lines. But soon it becomes clear that the leader has another plan. Enticed by the tales of a local mystic — Father Salomon, who supposedly knew how to overcome the cursed ice tunnel and ascend to the summit, he decides to storm Mount Velikaya. A bit of a fairy tale, filled with the atmosphere of endless mountains and snowy elements, a novel about the fleetingness of life, dreams, and the limits of human possibilities, which will inspire you for both great and small journeys.
