The Blue Tree

In a city, there grew an enormous and beautiful blue tree. All the townspeople loved it very much, everyone except the king, because the power of the tree surpassed his authority. The king ordered the tree to be cut down and his mounted statue to be placed in its place. But the surviving branches sprouted and turned into a forest of blue trees to the joy of the city's inhabitants. Thus, the tree defeated the tyrant and thrives against his will.
