Under the Dome. The Sixth Sense

Back in the late seventies, Stephen King pondered how people would behave when suddenly cut off from the outside world. The writer made two attempts to turn this idea into a full-fledged novel but twice abandoned it in favor of more promising ideas. It was only in the late 2000s that the writer found a way to realize the idea and created the novel "Under the Dome." The book entered the top ten best-selling releases of the year according to Publishers Weekly, and in 2013, it was adapted into a television series of the same name produced by CBS.
