Private detective Tatiana Ivanova is approached by Professor Andrey Viktorovich Smazov and his daughter Liza.  

The woman was six months pregnant, but recently someone pushed her down the stairs, and she had a miscarriage.  

Liza did not see who did it and wants Tatiana to find the malefactor.  

She suspects Zlata, a former friend and also the ex-girlfriend of her husband Nikolai.  

Tatiana Ivanova will have to unravel the tangled intrigues to find the criminal.
