Quantity and Counting. Developmental Tasks and Games for Children Aged 4-5 Years

The book for activities with a 4-5 year old child will help form initial mathematical concepts in the areas of "Quantity and Counting" and "Geometric Shapes". By completing tasks, the child will relate the number of objects to the digit that represents them, learn to distinguish geometric shapes, navigate on a sheet of paper, etc. The nesting game helps the child master and reinforce the concepts of number and digit through practical activities, assess and control their work independently.
This guide continues the activities from the books "Few-Many, Big-Small" and "Learning to Count" for children aged 3-4 years from the "Academy of Sunbeams" series. After completing the tasks in this book, you can continue working with K.V. Chetvertakov's book "Learning Digits" for children aged 4-5 years from the same series.
