Welcome to the Serengeti, one of the treasures of the wild, where millions of animals graze, hunt, and enjoy life.
The Society of the Kind Comet, the largest and most prestigious non-profit scientific organization in the world, is holding a contest to draw attention to environmental conservation issues.
We offer YOU and other talented directors the chance to create the greatest documentary ever made titled "Wild Nature of the Serengeti."
Everyone will have the opportunity to showcase their talents.
Observe amazing animals, shoot unique footage, and wisely use your resources to create the most beautiful and inspiring documentary.
But remember: only one film will pass the selection process and be shown on screens around the world.
The Serengeti National Park is located in Tanzania and covers an area of nearly 1.5 million hectares.
The park is famous for its rich wildlife. Approximately 500 species of birds and 3 million large animals inhabit the area — zebras, wildebeests, elephants, and others.
Numerous herds undertake grand seasonal migrations between the northern hills and southern plains.
In the Olduvai Gorge, also known as the "cradle of humanity," there are traces of the earliest humans.
"Wild Nature of the Serengeti" is a colorful board game featuring action selection, engine building, and set collection mechanics, inspired by the endless plains of the Serengeti.
The main activity in the game is completing tasks on scene cards by placing animals on the game board in a specific order. You can introduce new animals and move those already on the board.
If the animals are placed on the board as indicated on the scene card, that scene can be filmed. For filming a scene, the player receives recognition ✰ (victory points) and other rewards. Additionally, some rounds feature award ceremonies that provide extra recognition, and great migrations that remove some animals from the board.
The player with the most recognition wins.
