Marriage is beautiful, but not everlasting. It exists until death do us part. After that - eternal reward or eternal disappointment, depending on how we lived our lives. We cannot allow trivial matters to destroy marriage, but we also cannot let marriage distract us from the greatest events. A jealous God tells us to seek Him first and foremost. Only then does life become meaningful, and everything falls into place. Love, laughter, intimacy were created for enjoyment. Thus, it is indeed possible to combine a deep love for family with the desire for heaven. It is a matter of our "focus." Jesus was right. Let's approach it from the other side. The best way to have a wonderful marriage is not to focus on it.
