This true book is truly unique - it is the very first collection by Bradbury, which has practically not been reissued since then, unavailable anywhere else in the world and in any language for 60 years! Individual stories from "The Dark Carnival" (including such classics as "The Traveler" and "The Little Killer", "The Scythe" and "Uncle Einar") have been revised and included in later collections, however Bradbury categorically refused to reissue his debut in its original form. A new translation by Marina Voronezhskaya of the original collection by Ray Bradbury from 1947.
