It's Much Better There

The main character, a professor, finds himself locked in a shed with dozens of other people, completely unaware of what is happening. They are treated like animals, fed with scraps, and have to fight for access to water. One day, a man grabs him and takes him somewhere. During the long journey into the unknown, the professor delves into memories of the past, which include his prestigious job as a sociology teacher at the university, as well as conversations with his beloved students about the ideal structure of society...
