Good People. Narrative in Portraits

The story "Good People" is a tale about the Russian people. The Russian person is both wise and foolish, kind and gloomy at times… they are varied. But they have an amazing trait: even in the most terrible conditions, they keep the light in their soul, and if they lose it, they suffer from longing, seeking, yearning for that spiritual Light. Another wonderful quality of Russian people is that they are unyielding! They love life, they scold it, they themselves are cunning, yet they still love. And they love their patient land.
