Black Ash on Snow

Agne is an ordinary witch in a godforsaken village on the cliffs of Normandy, leading a quiet, ascetic life. Everything changes when an eleven-year-old Bogdanka appears in the witch's home – a gifted girl from the southern shores, who does not yet know the power she possesses and why this strength has been given to her. To obtain at least a part of Bogdanka's magic, all evil creatures, large and small, unleash a bloody war, in the grinding stones of which human souls are crushed. Driven by dark forces and their own tribesmen, Agne and Bogdanka embark on a dangerous journey through medieval Europe, to the southern lands of the Kyivan Principality, to seek help from the one who knows.
