The Dog

Having lost his wife, losing more and more with each step, the protagonist of the story "The Dog" finds himself forced to astonishingly regain inner strength, meaning, and purpose that will help save and be saved from the demons of this world, to burn in order to find light and peace amid absolute darkness.
In the story "Mad, Mad, Mad Day," the hero also faces a path to the light, but this path is paved through encounters with the other if not in all, then in many of its manifestations.
