This book focuses on the recipients of the prize in Physiology... or Medicine. At the time of writing, 210 prizes have been awarded to 219 laureates. From them, we have selected 30 — those whose work is widely used, the significance of which is known to everyone, and whose essence is understandable to anyone without specialized education — who cares about medicine and their own health.
