This type of brush was specifically developed as an alternative to school brushes made from squirrel hair, the raw materials for which are currently in short supply. 

Brushes made from silver fox hair are significantly cheaper than those made from squirrel hair, but nevertheless, do not lag behind squirrel brushes in their characteristics.
