Board Game - Travelers from the Southern Tigris

Let us travel back to the 820s AD, during the height of the Abbasid Caliphate. You will act as brave explorers, cartographers, and astronomers who set out from Baghdad to create maps of land, water, and the night sky. You... must wisely lead your caravans, care for the workers and equipment.
Will you surpass the wise men of the caliphate and create the greatest scientific work, or will you meet a shameful end in the sands?
Your travel notes will be sent to the House of Wisdom, where they will be reviewed by the caliph… and he will name the most worthy among you!
 
«Travelers from the Southern Tigris» — a euro-style board game with engine building, worker placement mechanics (both cubes and meeples), and combination gathering. The game features the characteristic style of Garphill Games and Shem Phillips in its mechanics and design.
The number of turns in the game is not fixed. Players take turns to perform their actions: place a cube on their board or on the map, send a worker to the game board, or make a camp.
On your turn, you will activate actions, gain and spend resources (coins and supplies), acquire cards and improvement tokens, manipulate influence in guilds, advance on the travel diary track, and more.
The game continues until one of the players reaches the last space of the travel diary.
The player with the most victory points (VP) at the end of the game wins. Victory points are only awarded at the end of the game, not throughout the game. The main source of victory points — mapping land, bodies of water, and the night sky. Points are also awarded for improving caravans, inspiration, and influence in the science, trade, and exploration guilds.
Notes in the travel diary mark your progress: the end of the game occurs when one of the players reaches its far-right column.
