The Three Musketeers

A young and poor nobleman d'Artagnan sets off for Paris to join the royal service and become a musketeer. He immediately finds himself embroiled in court intrigues between Cardinal Richelieu and Queen Anne of Austria. Together with his new friends Athos, Porthos, and Aramis, the musketeer must confront numerous dangerous traps set by the cardinal and his many spies, as well as learn the price of love and betrayal.
