Bridgid, who graduated from the philosophy department, is unlucky with a steady job. One day she is offered to watch over the apartment of an architect who has gone to Estonia. It might seem that nothing could be simpler, as... Bridgid has worked in various jobs: walking dogs, babysitting children and the elderly, cleaning offices, assisting on film shoots... But the huge apartment in the trendiest area of Turin, with a terrace full of luxurious plants, brings her quite a few surprises.
The girl accidentally breaks an antique lamp, witnesses unimaginable love stories, theatrical scandals, and rivalry among realtors, she is forced to communicate with the carefree ex-wife and the hysterical mistress of the apartment owner and to take care of someone else's child... The tangled web of problems grows and becomes increasingly complicated. But the stubborn, undiscouraged, and philosophically minded Bridgid, like a modern Mary Poppins, manages to untangle all the threads, fix a thousand situations, and even find love.
