Promised to the God of Sun

64 AD, Roman Empire. Anyone can become a victim of a conspiracy: an assassination attempt is made on the daughter of an aqueduct builder, Diana, in her own bedroom. Her father hires her a personal guard - the champion of the gladiatorial games, Mark Gall the Deathbringer. Mark Gall hates the Romans who turned him into a slave and does not believe a single word they say, but Diana is nothing like the others. As he gets to know his new mistress better, Mark Gall realizes that he would do anything to protect Diana, even if it means fighting against Apollo himself.
