Gia Li, Ariel Kim, and Everett Hoang are best friends, and they are inseparable. But this summer vacation they will spend time apart for the first time. Everett, a rising star on Broadway, hopes to land a leading role in a theatrical production in Ohio, but soon realizes that it requires more than just talent. Ariel flies to San Francisco for a prestigious scholarship, although her heart is in South Korea, where her sister died last year. And Gia stays in New York to help her parents with their family restaurant, which will someday be passed down to her. But Gia dreams of something entirely different. This summer, everything will change.
