The new book by Alexey Kirilovich Simonov, a renowned film director, writer, screenwriter, and journalist, is a collection of memories and stories that emerged over the years and on various occasions. It consists of three "halls," which readers are invited... to stroll through, much like an exciting exhibition. The first "hall" is dedicated to the writer's relatives: parents — Konstantin Simonov and Yevgeniya Laskina, grandparents. The second and third "halls" recount memories of youth and encounters with such famous people of his time as Leonid Utesov, Galina Ulanova, Yuri Nikulin, Alexander Galich, Bulat Okudzhava, and Alexey German. It will also discuss two theaters that shaped the author's youth — the "Contemporary" and the Estrada Studio of Moscow State University "Our Home," the sixtiers, the Higher Director's Courses, and the "Novaya Gazeta"…
