Noon in the Room

For the first time after the death of Joseph Brodsky (1940-1996), three books of his selected poems are being published: "Night Flight", "Noon in the Room", and "View from the Hill". The subjective selection of its compiler is primarily that... of a careful and demanding reader, an attempt to construct a personal "canon of Brodsky" and to reflect on each part in a brief afterword. The book "Noon in the Room" includes poems from 1972-1986, including those not included by the author in collections published by the famous American publisher "Ardis" and which have become a classic legacy of the great poet.
