The volume of selected works by the outstanding Russian writer Mikhail Mikhailovich Prishvin (1873-1954) includes: the lyrical novella "Ginseng", dedicated to the nature and people of the North; more than three dozen short stories, some of which were published only once during the writer's lifetime, while others were never published at all as they were "untimely"; a book of diary entries "Forget-me-nots", where the author's profound thoughts on life and creativity are expressed vividly and aphoristically.
