Cannibals

The manga by Yoshiki Takahashi is characterized by a pronounced moralizing nature, reminiscent of classic fables. The passionate desire for something that overtakes Takahashi's characters grows into obsession and then becomes sin. And as we know, sins must be paid for. In addition to established notions of ghosts, werewolves, and other mythical creatures, the author mocks certain modern pursuits, such as the desire to be more beautiful than God created you, or the widespread fight against obesity, reducing seemingly good intentions to what they actually represent – vanity as a form of moral deformity.
