Out of the Deadlock. Book 1

The novel reflects a complex period of domestic history associated with the formation of the Murmansk Railway and the establishment of the fleet of the Arctic Ocean, which later gave rise to the heroic Northern Fleet. The Russian cruiser "Askold" began combat service in the Dardanelles operation and entered the revolution as a ship of the Northern Fleet.

Most of the novel is devoted to the fight against foreign intervention in Murmansk, Arkhangelsk, and Karelia.
