Pygmalion

A brilliant comedy by Bernard Shaw about a London professor who, as part of a bet, must transform a vulgar flower girl into a refined lady of high society, is adapted in this edition using Ilya Frank's method: equipped with... a literal translation into Russian and necessary lexical-grammatical commentary (without simplification of the original text).
The uniqueness of the method lies in the fact that memorization of words and expressions occurs through their repetition, without rote learning and the need to use a dictionary. Moreover, the reader becomes accustomed to the logic of the English language and begins to "feel" it.
