The Book of Unsolved Cases

In 1977, the town of Claire Lake in Oregon discusses the mysterious murders committed by the enigmatic Lady Killer: two men shot at different times with the same gun. The reasons are unclear, both left strange suicide notes. The main suspect is immediately thirty-three-year-old Beth Greer, rich and eccentric — she was seen fleeing the crime scene. But the jury acquits Beth, and since then she has led a secluded life in her gloomy, large house by the ocean. 2017. Twenty-nine-year-old, recently divorced Shay Collins works at the clinic's reception, dedicating all her free time to her website, where she writes about unsolved crimes and serial killers. Accidentally meeting Beth Greer at the clinic, Shay asks her for an interview, although she does not expect a positive response. But Beth agrees.
Shay is filled with dread every time she steps over the threshold of this gloomy, uninviting house, whose owner may indeed be the very lady killer... But the desire to uncover the truth long hidden from everyone is stronger than the fear.
