The creativity of the famous English writer Jane Austen, author of the elegant and witty novels "Pride and Prejudice", "Mansfield Park", and "Emma", has had a significant impact on the development of English prose in the 19th and 20th centuries... and has been increasingly popular with readers for almost two hundred years. This edition publishes the novel "Sense and Sensibility" (1811), originally intended for family reading; published anonymously, in the name of a certain "lady", it glorified its author and became a recognized classic of world literature. Today, the novel is known thanks to the film adaptation featuring magnificent actors — Emma Thompson, Kate Winslet, and Hugh Grant.
