Pollyanna. Pollyanna Grows Up

In the novel «Pollyanna» by Eleanor Porter, the story of a little girl is told, who after her father's death is forced to move in with her aunt, into a world of strict rules and prohibitions. Fortunately, Pollyanna managed to learn a wonderful skill from her father: not to be disheartened and to find reasons for joy under any circumstances. First published in 1913, the book became a true bestseller, was translated into many languages and was adapted for film multiple times. In 1915, Eleanor Porter wrote a continuation of the story — «Pollyanna Grows Up». Her heroine has grown up but has not lost her childhood wonder at the world. Pollyanna still believes that all difficulties can be overcome, the main thing is to believe!
