Milk without honey

Thanks to bees, we obtain a third of all food. These lovers of fragrant flowers could gift us a paradise where rivers of milk and honey flow. But concrete deserts, monocultures, and the climate crisis threaten bees, biodiversity, and thus... our entire ecosystem. If we continue to deplete and destroy the natural world that insects shape and support, we will draw closer to a future full of deprivation. How can we preserve our home?

In poetic illustrations, Hanna Harms depicted the fragile world of insects. In the afterword, bee specialist, professor, and PhD Jurgen Tautz discussed the situation in a more global context.
