Merv: The Exit Game

Merv is a complex Euro game where understanding the rules isn’t hard — what’s more challenging is not to miss the small details that will lead you to victory during the game.

You will strive for power and wealth in the heart of the Silk Road — the ancient city of Merv. Court intrigues, profitable trade deals, fulfilling large orders, and even generous donations to the needs of the mosque — all of this can lead you to victory. But the beautiful city is threatened by Mongol raids. Are you ready to sacrifice your own bright prospects to protect the city's inhabitants, or will you try to bribe the vicious nomads, leaving the common people to their fate?

The heart of the game is the city of Merv itself, which is randomly built from tiles in the center of the board. Each round, you will move along its walls, constructing city districts with your buildings, collecting resources, and utilizing the opportunities provided by the various areas of Merv. Throughout the entire game, you will have only 12 actions — don’t waste them, as every mistake brings your opponents closer to victory.
