Rubaiyat

Omar Khayyam (1048–1131), a great Persian poet, philosopher, and scientist, is an undisputed classic of world lyric poetry. Throughout his life, he wrote poetic aphorisms, rubaiyat, in which he reflected profound thoughts on love and hate, good and evil, fate and destiny. The famous Rubaiyat, which make one ponder about life and laugh at the helplessness of man in the struggle against himself, remain relevant to this day.
