English Mystical Novella of the 19th Century

Three works by masters of English-language prose - O. Wilde, C. Dickens, and H. James - are presented for the readers' attention. In the novellas of these writers, different approaches to the theme can be found, but their heroes, unknown and unknowable in principle, invariably turn out to be very endearing. The unadapted text of the novellas is accompanied by comments and a dictionary. The book is intended for students of language universities and all lovers of English literature.
